The E31E Dependent Child KITAS is a Limited Stay Permit designed specifically for children under 18 years old who wish to join their foreign parents legally residing in Indonesia with a valid KITAS or KITAP . This visa allows families to stay together while the primary visa holder resides in Indonesia for work, investment, retirement, or other permitted activities .
As a Dependent Child KITAS holder, your child can live with you in Indonesia for the duration of your stay permit, attend school, and enjoy the freedom to travel internationally and return throughout the permit validity. The child's visa validity will always follow the parent's KITAS or KITAP expiry date it cannot exceed the parent's permit duration .
Permitted Activities :
- Reside in Indonesia with parents who hold a valid KITAS/KITAP
- Pursue education in Indonesia (attend school, kindergarten, etc.)
- Exit and re-enter Indonesia freely throughout the Re-Entry Permit validity
- Engage in tourism activities and visit friends or family
- Live legally with family during the parent's stay in Indonesia
Restrictions :
- STRICTLY PROHIBITED from working or engaging in any paid employment
- CANNOT receive income from Indonesian sources
- NOT allowed to sell goods or services in Indonesia
- CANNOT be used to join a Golden Visa holder as a family dependent (special restriction for E31E)
- Overstaying is subject to IDR 1,000,000 per day penalty
- Visa expires automatically when the parent's KITAS/KITAP expires

Original birth certificate translated into Indonesian by a sworn translator (translation not required if document is in English) - Sponsor Guarantee
Proof of guarantee from the guarantor (Indonesian citizen) OR statement of commitment from the parents (foreign national) - Marriage Certificate
Marriage certificate or marriage book of parents translated into Indonesian by a sworn translator (translation not required if in English) - Parent's Valid KITAS/KITAP
Copy of the parent's valid Limited Stay Permit or Permanent Stay Permit - Parent's Passport
Copy of parent's passport biodata page - Financial Proof
Bank statement for the last 3 months in parent's name showing minimum balance of USD 2,000 (or equivalent)
