As a Retirement KITAS holder, you can live in Indonesia for up to one year, with the freedom to travel internationally and return throughout your permit validity. Permitted Activities 

• Reside in Indonesia for retirement purposes
• Conduct business-related activities, such as:
• Meetings with business partners
• Shopping and purchasing activities
• Inspecting goods at offices, factories, or production sites
• Exit and re-enter Indonesia freely throughout your Re-Entry Permit validity
• Engage in tourism activities and visit friends or family
• Bring eligible family members (spouse, children under 18, parents) to live in Indonesia as dependents
• Open an Indonesian bank account
• Obtain an Indonesian driving license (SIM)
• Employ local household staff

Restrictions 

• PROHIBITED from working for any Indonesian company
• CANNOT receive income from Indonesian sources
• NOT allowed to sell goods or services in Indonesia
• PROHIBITED from engaging in formal employment
• CANNOT serve as Director, Commissioner, or hold any position in an Indonesian company
• Overstaying is subject to IDR 1,000,000 per day penalty
