As a Remote Worker Visa holder, you can reside in Indonesia for up to one year while carrying out your duties for a foreign employer. The permit includes multiple re-entry privileges, allowing you to travel internationally throughout your stay while maintaining your Indonesian residency status.
Permitted Activities :
- Reside in Indonesia while performing tasks for a company outside Indonesia
- Work remotely for employers, clients, or businesses based outside the country
- Exit and re-enter Indonesia freely throughout your Re-Entry Permit validity
- Engage in tourism activities and visit friends or family
- Open Indonesian bank accounts
- Obtain an Indonesian driving license (SIM)
- Purchase and register vehicles in your name
Restrictions :
- Strictly PROHIBITED from working for any Indonesian company
- CANNOT receive income from Indonesian sources
- NOT allowed to sell goods or services in Indonesia
- PROHIBITED from supervising production activities
- CANNOT receive wages, rewards, or compensation from Indonesian individuals or corporations
